INTRODUCTION

We aim to cater for the needs of all of our guests, in our family owned 45 en suite bedroom hotel with a restaurant and bar.

PRE-ARRIVAL

  • You can contact us via phone, fax or email (details below)
  • There is a bus stop 150 yards from the hotel car park of the hotel for journeys eastward and opposite the hotel going west
  • Salisbury train station is 5 minutes by car
  • There are many local taxi firms which we will book on your behalf
  • Menus can be provided in large print

ARRIVAL & CAR PARKING FACILITIES

  • Our corridors are well lit and carpeted
  • The restaurant and bar are assessable on one level through the main entrance to the hotel
  • The entrance to the restaurant has wooden floors.
  • We do not have a lift or escalators to 1st floor
  • Overnight car parking charges are £7.00 Sunday – Thursday and £9.00 Friday – Saturday.

PUBLIC AREA – WC

  • There is a single fire door 82cm width, leading to a unisex disabled WC
  • The fire alarm system is bells and does not have flashing lights. Assistance is given in evacuation if necessary

RESTAURANT / DINING ROOM, BAR & LOUNGE

  • Movable seating throughout. There are chairs with or without arms
  • Background music in the restaurant and bar
  • Full waiter servicer
  • Table clearance height 74cm and width 69cm
  • Menus are provided in large print on request
  • Well lit and airy restaurant and bar Lounge Bar – One small step from lounge area to bar

CONFERENCE & MEETING ROOMS, BANQUETING, CLUBS, ENTERTAINMENT

  • The majority of our Conference rooms are on one level and carpeted throughout
  • Our conference room/private dining room the Fonthill Room has two small steps in the corridor leading to the Fonthill Room for which a temporary ramp is available
  • Accessible WC
  • Movable seating and tables
  • We do not have a loop system

BEDROOMS

  • 21 bedrooms on the ground floor with corridor widths of 144cm and door width of 82cm

GROUNDS AND GARDENS

  • We have a patio adjacent to the bar with movable chairs and tables
  • Patio to lounge – one small step. Lounge to Bar – one small step
  • Front and side of main house is a level landscaped, grassed area

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Assistance dogs are welcome
  • Small fridge available on request for medication
  • In the event of evacuation the bells will ring continuously. If you require assistance for evacuation please notify us on arrival
